Online Course Policy
​Safeguarding
 
  • As per our usual practice, all our instructors are carefully selected, trained and enhanced DBS checked. Furthermore, we put the following security measures in place to keep our online meetings on Zoom protected:

    • Every course has a unique meeting ID which is shared only with people who have made a booking via our website or registered for a taster session;

    • We have a waiting room for each course to admit or reject participants. Our instructors make sure to only admit registered users.
       

  • As part our course, we record each online tuition session; these recordings will be made available only to the parents and students who have registered the same course. We will make necessary editings to protect the privacy and safeguarding of our students.
     

  • The practice sessions will be recorded for the following purposes:  safeguarding, internal training and quality control. Please note that the recordings for the practice sessions will not be shared with anyone outside of Deckzero. Recordings will be accessible for a period of 6 month (on Zoom iCloud) and then deleted after this time period has passed.

Cancellation & Refund

  • If a Course is cancelled by Deckzero, Deckzero shall fully reimburse the Course fee (if paid) to the Customer within a maximum of ten (10) calendar days of announcing the cancellation.

  • If a Customer wishes to cancel a booking for a Course before the course commences, the Customer must provide written notice to Deckzero. If the notice is given on a date -

    • more than 14 days before the course commencement date: full refund or credit equivalent to the full course fee will be provided after a deduction of £10 covering and transaction costs and admin handling (for cash refund only).

    • between the 14 days prior to the course commencement date and the course commencement date: no refund will be issued.

    • between the course commencement date and 14 days after the commencement date: a partial refund will be issued minus the pro-rata charge of course fees already incurred, and a £10 admin charge.

    • between 14 days after the commencement date and the end of the current paying period: no refund will be issued.

  • If a Customer wishes to change a booking, the Customer must provide at least fourteen (14) calendar days' notice in writing to Deckzero. Deckzero will fulfil the change request based on availability. If the notice is given within fourteen (14) calendar days of the Course start date, a change fee of £10 will be charged.
     

  • If a Customer wishes to change or cancel a Course for compassionate reasons, Deckzero may provide credit and/or waive the admin charges at the sole discretion of the Course Director.
