What Is GDPR

Information We Collect from You
1. Account information
You don’t have to create an account to view, search and run the public topics and decks. If you browse the website as a guest, we collect standard technical information as most websites such as xyz...
If you do choose to create an account and become a user, we need to collect your User Personal Information to create your account, and to provide the services you request, including to provide the Deckzero service, the Content Creation service, or to respond to support requests.
Information we collect, store and process as part of the requirement to deliver our services include:

A user’s full name, for user identification and registration purposes

A user’s email address, for user identification, communication and data recovery purposes
The above information will be hosted on our platform. We use your User Personal Information, specifically your username, to identify you on Deckzero.
We will use your email address to communicate with you, if you have given consent for the particular reason. Please see our section on email communication for more information.
The platform does not ask for detailed personal information other than a user’s full name and email address.
2. Technical information
In order to provide technical assistance and platform improvements information, the platform may collect technical information from website browsers, such as web server logs, or other log information, such as User session or activity logs, and anonymised IP addresses of users.
We collect Technical Information to better understand how our website visitors use Deckzero, and to monitor and protect the security of the website.
Users' Personal Information and Technical Information will only be used for internal purposes, such as to maintain logs for security reasons, for training purposes, and for legal documentation and compliance.
3. User content data
Our platform allows users to upload and/or create user content, including presentations, code, messages, comments, images, and results generated by the users through the use of the hosting platform and consumption of the deck contents.
Users can restrict public access by changing the level of visibility/searchability and permission of access to topics and decks. If your content is made public, anyone (including us) may view its contents and potentially make other uses of it. If you have included private or sensitive information in your public presentation, such as email addresses, that information may be indexed by search engines or used by third parties. If your user content is shared privately, those you have shared it with may use it in a manner inconsistent with our Terms of Use, and/or inconsistent with your wishes, including disclosing it publicly.
We do not associate content information that is stored in your presentations, infographics or other free-form content inputs with personal information about you or others. Information in your decks and infographics belongs to you, and you are responsible for it, as well as for making sure that your content complies with our Terms of Service. Our employees do not access private content unless required to for security or maintenance, or for support reasons, or with your consent.
Occasionally to conduct research for the purposes of better understanding user behavior and in order to create improved experiences and new functionality, strictly on an anonymous basis, we may view access your content. The information generated from this analysis is stored in a manner which cannot be linked to the owner’s content and cannot be used to identify an individual.
4. Payment information
Browsing the public topics on our platform is free. We also provide a certain amount of computing power for casual users free of charge. In order to gain access to specific premium features and use more computing power, you must provide us with payment information, including your credit or debit card number, card expiry date, CVV code, and billing address.
How to Access and Control Your Information

Account data: you can log into your account to change your email address, password and name details at any time;

Content data: you can change the status of visibility, searchable, read, edit, and fork permission of each deck folder and each individual deck at the setting area. You can also delete your decks at any time. However if your deck or deck folder has been forked by other users, you will only be able to delete the version created originally by yourself.

Requests concerning your personal data: You have the right to request a copy of your information, to object to our use of your information (including for marketing purposes), to request the deletion or restriction of your information, or to request your information in a structured, electronic format.

Deactivate your account: if you no longer wish to use our services, please send us an email to request the deactivation and deletion of your account and relevant data.
Information We Do NOT Collect
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, such as address, telephone, medical information, gender, occupation or regilious information.
If you store any sensitive personal information on our servers, such as in a repository or in your public profile, you are responsible for complying with any regulatory controls regarding that data.
We do not intentionally collect User Personal Information that is stored in your repositories or other free-form content inputs. Information in your repositories belongs to you, and you are responsible for it, as well as for making sure that your content complies with our Terms of Service. Any personal information within a user's repository is the responsibility of the repository owner.
Our Minors Policy
Deckzero does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.
Deckzero does not direct any content, products, or Services at children under the age of 13. We understand and are committed to respecting the sensitive nature of children’s privacy online.
If you are a user between the ages of 13 and 16, you may only use Deckzero through an account created by a parent or guardian, with that parent or guardian’s permission – provided that in your jurisdiction there is no requirement for you or your parent to provide any consent to Deckzero for a minor’s use beyond what is already provided in Deckzero’s Terms of Use and Privacy policy.
By way of example, in some Designated Countries users as old as 16 may be required to have their parent or guardian submit their specific consent to Deckzero, and in those countries users under 16 years of age may not use Deckzero.
How We Use the Information We Collect

Billing and payment: at the current stage, we do not charge individual platform users. We will start collecting billing information once the fee paying features are launched. Your payment information will only be used to collect payments based on your usage on our platform.
